With under- and post-graduate degrees in Design (Three Dimensional, and New Media and Technology respectively) Tom has always had a strong interest in the balance of quality, creativity and innovation within problem solving as well as the philosophies that inform and support the activities. Past activities have included work as the Technical Lead on a variety of QR-code based activities, and undertaking research into the pedagogical impacts of QR-code enhanced learning materials. Tom is interested in the implementation of both QR and Augmented Reality (AR) for Tourism businesses as well as looking at the broader possibilities for crossover Technologies to Tourism in Wales. He is always keen to discuss forward-thinking ideas and theories.
Outside of work Tom enjoys photography, mountain- and motor-biking and camping as well as good food and self-sufficiency.
